PD Power Systems, LLC receives award to provide multiple products in support of the Deployable Power Generation and Distribution System US Army program
SPRINGFIELD, VA February 27, 2023 – PD Power Systems, LLC, a privately held Veteran-Owned Small Business, announced today that it received a Firm Fixed Priced contract award from the US Army to supply multiple products in support of the US Army Deployable Power Generation and Distribution System program.
The award is for special products built by PD Power Systems in support of the 800kW power units that multiple US Army organizations utilize, to include the 249th Engineer Battalion (Prime Power)/FEMA, Force Provider Expeditionary, and various current and future Missile Defense Agency programs. The power units are designed to perform in the many stringent and harsh operational environments encountered in the field.
Mr. Mazen Badr, President and Chief Operating Officer of PD Power Systems, will lead the effort. He said, “PD Power Systems is proud to continue to supply and support our warfighters with state-of-the-art power products that are unique in their capabilities, today and for the future”.
