PD Power Systems achieves ISO 9001:2015 recertification
SPRINGFIELD, VA December 8, 2022 – PD Power Systems, LLC, a privately held Veteran-Owned Small Business, announced today that it received its ISO 9001:2015 recertification of its Quality Management System for the Design and Manufacturing of Power Solutions.
ISO 9001:2015 is the world’s most widely recognized standard that specifies requirements for a Quality Management System, helping businesses and organizations provide products and services that meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements. There is an emphasis on risk and evidence-based decision making and accountability in all organizational processes to help improve communication, operations, customer focus, and implementation of continuous improvement. The certification process includes an extensive external audit by an accredited ISO Lead Auditor. ISO certificates are valid for three years to ensure businesses maintain compliance to the standard, after which reassessment is required to retain certification.
