SPRINGFIELD, VA September 10, 2024 – Senator Bill Hagerty (TN) visits production facility of PD Power Systems power generation and power distribution equipment at Morrison Industries in Morrison, TN

As part of his annual economic development tour, U.S. Senator Bill Hagerty of Tennessee visited Morrison Industries, located in Warren County, TN. Morrison Industries is a family-owned and operated company, specializing in designing and manufacturing returnable packaging solutions and production of large-scale power equipment for the U.S. Department of Defense.

During the plant tour, Morrison Industries featured PD Power Systems’ power equipment, including Power Distribution Panels (PDPs), and the 72kW Ground Power Unit (GPU) for the U.S. Air Force. The 72kW GPU is part of the Ground Power Modernization program, in which PD Power System was awarded a maximum $482,000,000 IDIQ contract in November 2022.
