Capabilities and features
The Cable Reel Pallet Assembly (CRPA) provides for the storage, transportation, and dispensing of cables used to distribute 5kV and 15kV primary power. The pallet assembly is designed to be used when laying out the power cables for the distribution system.
The individual cable reels are mounted onto the CRPA using an overhead crane, forklift, or other rated lifting device. The reel is supported on the CRPA with an axle shaft routed through the center of the reel that allows free spinning of the individual cable reels. Mounted to a forklift on the back of a truck, each of the cables is unreeled individually or simultaneously to lay out a three-phase power distribution system. The CRPA is supplied with a choice of cables listed below.
